| Nancy Burke MS ED Special Ed. Teacher, Supervisor Intensive Teaching Employed Since: September 2005 Education Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education and Elementary Education, as well as, a Master of Science Degree in Educational Psychology with a focus in Special Education from Plattsburgh State University. Profile Nancy began working for Whispering Pines Preschool in 2003, consulting for individual student programs, delivering home teaching services and teaching at the Delanson site for the Early Learning Area. She has been a special education teacher since 1991 and has taught children with special needs at both the preschool and elementary school levels. In the last eight years, Nancy has specialized in teaching language and learning skills to children with Autism and other similar developmental disabilities. She has received extensive training with Board Certified Behavior Analysts from the Vincent Carbone Clinic and attended numerous conferences hosted by Dr Carbone and other top BCBA’s including Dr. James Partington and Dr. Thomas Caffrey.
