| Rachel Iorio Special Education Teacher Employed Since: September 2008 Education Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Special Education from the College of Saint Rose. Profile Rachel Iorio, the Special Education teacher in the Pre-K class in Amsterdam, started at WPP on September 3rd, 2008. Rachel graduated from The College of Saint Rose in May of 2008. With a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Special Education, Rachel is certified to teach children that are typically developing and those with special needs from birth to grade two. Rachel has four years experience working with people with special needs through Lexington Family Services and Catholic Charities Disabilities Services. She has also worked with children in a variety of settings including her student teaching experiences in both an integrated Universal Pre-K program and in a first grade class. Rachel also spent time as a Teacher’s Aide in a daycare setting and substituted in local school districts. More Staff |
