We will be sending home fliers to parents soon. Activities will include bubbles, making rigatoni caterpillars, side walk chalk, painting on big paper on the fence, face painting, coffee filter butterflies, throwing balls into a hoop and possibly bowling . Hopefully we’ll have a beautiful day like last year! If not, we’ll hold the activities inside, including the swap party which will be in the Toddler room. 3) Fundraiser for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society – our walkathon at the Preschool went really well! The weather cooperated and the children enjoyed walking around the grounds and eating chocolate chip cookies! 4) Graduation – Lisa reported that our entertainment will be Grandma Tippy Toes. Brandy, Liz and Kathi volunteered to help make signs for graduation.

Bonnie joined us for part of the meeting to discuss planting schemes. We’ll be consulting with Ryan and Alicia soon to firm up specific planting themes. A letter will be going home to parents in a couple of weeks asking for plant donations, juice and snacks. • T-shirts – we are still in the process of designing the t-shirts for families who would like to purchase shirts with the WPP logo. • Recommendations – reviewed the past couple of years and asked parents what they enjoyed most. Parents really liked the Thanksgiving celebration, Garden Party, Fall Festival and Polar Express. They also recommended trying to get more parents involved with the board by sending out a letter to everyone describing what the Board does in more detail.
